A 2016 Ford Mustang is getting auctioned with a $1 reserve on TradeMe with earnings going to Camp Quality in New Zealand.
The winner of $1 reserve charity auction for a this new Ford Mustang will now be able to race free of charge on Hampton Downs and Highlands circuits for a year.
The automobile offered for $110,101 at auction on TradeMe.
The plan had actually been promoted to be worth over $115,000 prior to Wednesday night when Hampton Downs and Highlands owner, Tony Quinn, added a 12-month GT subscription, worth $14,500.
Proceeds of the auction, that was closed at 10pm Thursday, will go towards Camp Quality, a volunteer, non-profit charitable trust, offering yearly summertime camps and year-round support at no cost to help children and their households conquer the difficulties of dealing with cancer.
The 2016 fastback is loaded with the preferred features as chosen by Kiwis and has been supplied by Auckland vehicle dealer John Andrew Ford and Mazda (JAF).
JAF operated a series of online polls in 2015 to determine New Zealand’s preferred Mustang, and its functions, and this was used to “upgrade” the Camp Quality Mustang with packages as voted the finest. The surveys identified that the Mustang would be a fastback manual in magnetic color, geared up with BM13 Savini D cast created alloys wheels and a CTB/Ford Performance Racing Stage 3 power upgrade package for the engine providing 500kw/670BHP.
These upgrades, consisting of other cosmetic additions, have been donated through a variety of JAF’s providers.
