Car Review: 2016 Mazda MX-5

Mazda MX-5 is an affordable and lightweight two seats sports car with smooth manual transmission. The 2016 Mazda MX-5 is powered with a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder DOHC gasoline engine. The 1998 cc engine can generate a maximum horsepower of 129 hp and a maximum torque of 111 lb. ft. The engine is situated about one inch further from the original position so the hood is now lower. Mazda MX-5 supports a 6 speed transmission system. The Mazda Mx-5 for sale in the USA will be equipped with a 2.0 liter engine instead of the 1.5 liter engine. The US version will also feature better exhaust system and cylinder head. Mazda Mx-5 can travel at a top speed of 115 mph.

The interior of the Mazda MX-5 is comfortable. It is not difficult to get and out of the car. The materials of the interior have been improved compared to the older version. Mazda MX-5 features deeper seats that will give the drive a better visibility of the road ahead.

Some of the standard safety features found in the sports care are air bags, antilock brakes, blind spot monitor, and cross traffic alert. Mazda MX-5 sports car can accelerate from 0 – 60 mph within 7 seconds.There are three models to choose from including Sport, Club and Grand Touring. The Brembo/BBS package is only available on the Mazda Club models. The Mazda MX-5 has an EPA estimated fuel economy of 24.32 mph.
