Iso Rivolta was making very powerful performance cars in the 60s and 70s. In 1974 the company went bankrupt.
Now Russian student Fedor Stetskevich from the Moscow State University of Industrial and Applied Arts has revived this old Italian brand together with Zagato design house.
The project is called Iso Rivolta Marella and is based on the 640 horsepower Corvette ZR1. That’s if the car ever makes it into production. At the moment Marella is just a scaled down model and bunch of drawings. Not bad for school project!
If you are wondering what’s the relation between Zagato design house and Iso Rivolta, it is quite simple. Piero Rivolta’s daughter Marietta is married to Andrea Zagato, and is also in the management of Zagato Centrostile.
