Fenix Automotive releases first renderings of Lee Noble’s new supercar

by Alex

After selling the Noble Automotive in 2006, Mr. Noble has been working on a new supercar that will go on sale in UK second half of this year.

Here we have the first teaser shots of Fenix Automotive’s new supercar, which according to Mr. Noble will be a ‘natural, but even more focused’ successor to his iconic M12, his new design is fresh, bold and dramatic, with a premium feel normally associated with exotic cars costing over £150,000.

“The M12 was hugely successful, but we needed to move the game on in terms of design,” said Lee. “The new car’s styling owes nothing to what I’ve done before and has quite literally been a ‘clean sheet’ exercise from the start. It’s edgy, with powerful lines, and aerodynamically will be in another league to any of my previous cars.”

Fenix Automotive has not released the final name of this new supercar, but we do know that customers can choose between two engines. GM’s 480 bhp LS3 V8 will be the ‘base’ unit, and the 6.2-liter supercharged LS9 V8 with 638 bhp will power the top model.

Projected weight is just 1200 kg (2645 lbs) and with the Corvette ZR1 engine it is expected to reach 100 mph (160 km/h) in under seven seconds, while the top speed is around 200 mph (322 km/h).

Manufacturing will take place in Port Elizabeth, South Africa with prices starting from £75,000. Stay tuned for more details.
