Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro to Get Four-Cylinder Engine

by SpeedLux

Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang are expected to get four-cylinder engines soon. As per the Managing Director of IHS Automotive, it is necessary to build the muscle cars in the four-cylinder engines so that they can have good demand in both domestic and international markets.

Recently V6 engine was considered as an option for such muscle cars which has not yet sunk in the minds of these car fans and now the four-cylinder engine.

Infact Dodge is not ready to accept the idea of such four-cylinder engines for the Charger and Challenger lineup even when there is a pressure of rising gas prices and pressure from government to provide better fuel efficiency.

Further details are awaited and there are chances that these cars may be launched in later half of 2014 when Ford will launch its redesigned Mustang.
