It is well known fact that there are ticket scalpers out there who apply the methodology of buying off the good seat tickets well in advance and then selling the same back at huge personal profits. The real enthusiast end up losing out their money to their own passion in the process. The scenario has shifted to car selling and buying as well.
There was the exciting and lip smacking model announced by BMW in June. It was a total of 30 samples that they had announced that would be produced. The car was supposed to be fitted with a 4.0 liter V8 engine delivering 414 HP. The car was also supposed to be fitted with the MDCT transmission system of BMW. The acceleration factor of the car for the 0 to 60 mph run was 4.5 seconds which was lower than the original 4.7 of the M3. These specifications were however not the real reason for the mad rush and craze for the car. It was rather the paint job which was a matte grey with a deep metallic luster to it that drew the consumers to this car. It took just 12 minutes for the entire 30 to be lapped up like milk by a cat.
There was however a case of the dealer having swiped up one the 30 and then being able to sell it a huge profit of $21,300.
The dealer at Coconut Creek, FL has one of these cars in its possession. The dealer by name Vista BMW/Mini is now selling the car for $98,900. They have included the plan of enrollment into the BMW Performance Driving School. Anyway, this was already in the original sales deal. There are therefore still hopes for those who thought that this car was all but gone.
