Weird advertisements in promoting a new vehicle model is no longer something new in the automotive industry, that is an inevitable fact. However, it seems that the South Korean automaker, Hyundai, is taking bizarreness into the next level with this new advertisement. Set to promote the new Hyundai Sonata, this advertisement features a pooping robot baby, equipped with an exoskeleton and numerous superpowers.
The South Korean company seems to have put at least two elements here, which are, The Six Million Dollar Man – a classic TV show from the 1970s – and the Mega Man video game franchise. At first, you may get confused at what Hyundai is actually trying to say with its new promotional advertisement. Yet, it won’t likely take you more than just a few seconds to realize that the advertisement is actually meant to enlist some of the company’s new and advanced technologies. Of course, these technologies will be available on the new Hyundai Sonata model.
To begin with, the company’s new Sonata sedan will feature advanced high strength steel material for its body construction. Thanks to this particular material, the chassis of the car will be very strong and it won’t be so vulnerable to damages upon impact. This is particularly important as it can save lives.
In addition to the strong construction material, the new Hyundai Sonata will also come with an auto engaging smart trunk. This will definitely make it easier for owners of the vehicle to load and unload their luggage. The car will also come with a blind spot detection system so that driver is less likely to crash into another vehicle when on the road. Other features to expect include Turbo GDi engine, Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Collision Warning System and Smart Parking Assist System. The latter will be particularly useful for those who have just learned how to drive a car and have just acquired their driving license. There is no more worrying about parking in tight spaces with the new Hyundai Sonata, or at least so it seems.
