Lamborghini SUV – Concept

As the 4-door Lamborghini Estoque coupe was dropped by the Italian supercar manufacturer, the new SUV arises. You might think that Lamborghini can only produce incredibly fast and wild sport cars – and you would be right, which means that the sport utility vehicle would have to do just that.

There is hardly any information available on this SUV. All we know is that it’s going to feature either the Aventador V12, with a maximum power of 700 horsepower, or the V10 Gallardo, or even a 500 horsepower V8 turbo, similar to the one being used on the Audi S8.

Lamborghini was initially planning on revealing this vehicle at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, but changed their mind, and set the date to the 2012 Peking Motor Show.

This car will most likely go on sale sometime at the beginning of 2014. The base cost price will be of around $200,000. Lamorghini really puts its hopes in this car, believing it is the model that will save the Italian firm. They might succeed in this manner, if there won’t be any problems with the Porsche Cayenne, which is a similar SUV. The customers might also have a bit of an abstention from buying an SUV from a car manufacturer known for producing coupe supercars.
