Lamborghini Veneno hypercar unmasked ahead of Geneva debut

This is perhaps Lamborghini’s fastest car ever built and will be ready in time to celebrate the brand’s Golden jubilee.

Its rivals Ferrari and McLaren have launched a string of sketches for their Geneva debut, On the other hand Lamborghini dislcosed very limited information. Now coming to the actual part of the story, the Veneno will have only three units initially and to be frank all of them have already been sold.

It will carry a price tag of 3.1 Million GBP (3.57M EUR or 4.65M USD). The major attraction is a V12 6.5-liter engine producing 740 hp (552 kW) linked to a seven-speed ISR robotized manual gearbox. It will allow the supercar to reach a top speed of 220 mph (354 km/h).

As far as style is concerned, it seems even more essential than other special models like the Reventon or Sesto Elemento. Although the car’s back, is unseen the rear wing looks extremely big. There are few carbon fiber components, a roof scoop, massive wheels and sweptback headlights.
