Mastretta MXT-R to appear at Autosport International

by David Bond

The Mexican sports car is set to make an appearance at the Autosport international motor show this year.

The Mexican sports car is expected to have a typical appearance but it will be equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front splitter and a rear wing. Its only a minor change, but engineers have apparently preserved the model’s image as an everyday sports car.

Power will come from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that develops 285 bhp (212 kW). For comparison, the standard MXT has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder Duratec engine with 250 bhp (186 kW) and 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) of torque.

Nothing is clear right now but once the show begins in few days time, detailed information is likely to come out then.

So stay tuned till then and take a look at the lovely pictures.
