New Bugatti Veyron – SuperSport has 1200 hp

by Ron Grant

Rumours that Bugatti was preparing a new model that appeared some time ago turned out not to be true. They were not developing a new model, but rather an extreme version of the Veyron named SuperSport.
The Bugatti Veyron SuperSport will be packed with a huge 1200 hp (200 hp more than the normal version) and will be 300 kg lighter.

With all these improvements, the new Bugatti Veyron Supersport will reach 60 mph in not more than 2.2 seconds and will be able to hit a top speed of 264 mph (425 km/h).

We are likely to see the new version presented at Paris Motor Show in September. It is a very limited edition though, only for the rich and famous, just 30 Supersports will be produced.
