Ford is organizing an expo at the Kentucky State Fair to test drive its latest truck.
The 2017 Super Duty got a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body just like aircrafts and spacecraft.
Ford Super Duty expert Nick Krzeminski stated: “That came over from F-150, so this is the specific same exterior.”
It’s lighter and more powerful than any other Super Duty truck.
“If you’re wanting to tow anything bigger than what the F-150 can, that’s where the Super Duty is going to come into play,” Krzeminski said.
The truck has unique bells and whistles, like air conditioned massage seats and integrated LED spotlights to brighten work zones. The performance screen in the center of the dashboard is an eight-inch touch screen having a new Sync 3 system.
“This more like a tablet style user interface where you can pinch, swipe zoom, and it reacts really fast,” Krzeminski stated.
Ford has invested over $1.3 billion in the 2017 Super Duty production and has produced over 2,000 jobs at the Kentucky Truck plant.
The Kentucky Truck Plant has developed over 5,000,000 F-Series Super Duty trucks from 1999. The Super Duty represents 43 percent of the United States heavy-duty pickup market.
Production at the Kentucky Truck Plant began this month and the trucks are finally prepared to hit the streets.
