After the launch of the brand-new Elantra and the current Creta 1st Anniversary Edition, it was obvious that Hyundai would not let go of a market that it expects to grow this year. As per the sources near the producer, Hyundai will be bringing the all-new Tucson to India by the end of October.
As of now, Hyundai presently only has the Creta and Santa Fe available for buyers in India. The new Tucson will easily complete the gap in between the two, with the Santa Fe at the greater end and Creta at the lower end.
Pertaining to the specifications of the next-generation Tucson, the new model is expected to show up in both diesel and a fuel variant. The engine is expected to be fine-tuned while the mated transmission will likewise feature modified gear ratios that need to match the requirements of an SUV.
Talking about the diesel, the buyers can expect a 2.0-litre engine that provides 185PS of power and 400Nm of torque. The same is expected to show up with an automatic transmission.
