The Lamborghini Veneno is one of those models that created a superb impression when it was launched at the Geneva Motor Show. The good news is that a new report is indicating the company is considering a roadster variant.
As per the report, several very high end Lamborghini customers have been approached by a dealer who inquired if they would be interested in a Veneno roadster. If this is true, it could only imply that Lamborghini has already signed off on the model or is seriously considering doing so.
While Veneno coupes were built in only three versions, the sources suggest that for roadsters up to nine different versions could be made. There is no details available about the pricing as yet but the coupe costs a whopping €3 miilion (approx $3.9 / £2.5), and so we can surely believe that a roadster would be tagged at a higher price and would surely sell it for even more.
Just a brief about the Veneno, it features an Aventador-sourced 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 750 HP (552 kW). It enabled the model to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and came with a top speed of 355 kmph (220 mph).
