The 40th Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport is Launching in 2016

Volkswagen has recently debuted the 40th model of the Golf GTI. The concept of the car was announced at the annual Wörthesee earlier this year. Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport has an aerodynamic body. One of its prominent features is the roof spoiler at the rear. The rear roof spoiler is slightly larger than the standard spoiler and has glossy black finishes. Throughout the exterior of the car, there is a unique red trim. The floor mat in the car also has red trims on the edge. The car interior features Alcantara upholstery and race bucket seats.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport is powered with a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that can generate a maximum horsepower of 261 hp. The engine can be boosted to produce up to 286 hp. It can accelerate from 0 – 62 mph within a time frame of 5.9 seconds. It features a 6 speed transmission system. There are two chrome plated exhaust pipes at the back. The standard model is equipped with an 18 in. alloy wheels. It is optional to upgrade to Bresica 19 in. alloy wheels.There is not yet any information on the pricing of the car. The car is expected to be launched at the early part of the following year. More details about the car will be released at the Frankfurt auto show in 2015.
