Saab lovers toyed with the idea of seeing a supercar deriving its DNA from the Spyker lineup upon the completion of sale of the Swedish brand.
We are certain that producing a supercar is not the top priority of the management of the SAAB Spyker Automobiles since there are a ton of important issues to deal with at the moment.
Eduard Gray, an independent designer, conceptualized a Saab supercar with mid-engine configuration and borrowing some hardware from Spyder.
The design makes use of the best elements of each of the brands and blends them to make a beautiful end product.
The design lines basically envisions using a chassis that perfectly fits a mid-engine setup from Spyker while Saab injects some character, style, and engineering to complete the package with excellent performance.
The proposal seems to be feasible if Spyker will stop sourcing their engines from Audi and start using the General Motors’ V6 powerplants.
