Ford recently released a promo video for the V-8 5.0L Ti-VCT that will go under the hood of the 2011 Mustang GT.
The video features some nice computer graphic action and gives everyone an idea about the technology used for the 412 horsepower engine. Notice the goodies of the powerplant like the cooling jets for the piston, RFF or Roller Finger Followers, and the Ti-VCT or Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing.
The video does not make any mention of the engine’s efficiency but the Mustang GT paired with a manual gearbox returns 16 miles per gallon during city driving and 24 mpg while cruising on the road. The automatic Mustang GT can give you 17 mpg weaving the city streets and 25 mpg for highway driving.
The coupe version of the Mustang GT has a tag price of $29,645 whle the convertible can be yours for $34,645.
