The Volvo S60 Cross Country may not be a highly anticipated vehicle that is popular among the car enthusiasts around the world. Yet, it does have some fans, too. In fact, the X-Tomi Design has just rendered the vehicle as a 2-door coupe. Well, even though this may not happen in all honesty, it is still quite interesting to imagine the car as a coupe with two doors.
For your information, it was only a couple of days ago that the Swedish automaker, Volvo, introduced its S60 Cross Country vehicle model. The Swedish company designates the vehicle model in question as a sedan with a high ride. This is quite innovative as it is the very first one to arrive to this world. The car is slated for debut next week as the 2015 NAIAS event starts welcoming visitors.
Now, let’s get back to the rendering imagined by the X-Tomi Design. Well, to be honest, the rendering actually seems to depict a model that should prove to be the first in its class as well. The car in the rendering is imagined to be a coupe that comes with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain and also a ground clearance that is pretty high, higher than that of most coupe models people can possibly find out there.
Taking a look at the rendering and the real thing, they are basically the same. The only difference is the amount of doors available on the car. In the rendering, the car has been treated with a distinctive orange hue on the outside.
Yet, speaking of the real deal, the Volvo S60 Cross Country comes with a ground clearance measuring 65 mm. In addition to that, customers can choose to have either 18- or 19-inch bespoke alloy wheels. Both the all-wheel-drive (AWD) and the front-wheel-drive drivetrains should be available as well.
