Volvo V40 Cross Country gets a more rugged look by Heico Sportiv

by SpeedLux

Heico Sportiv is well known for their individulization programs for different Volvos. This time the tuner is introducing a wide-ranging individualization program specially for the Volvo V40 Cross Country.

According to Heico Sportiv a lack of “XC” character was one of the commonest gripes. The boarding and seating positions “are too low”, the optics “too soft” and as a result Heico engineers added a new sport suspension – named “Cross Chassis” – raising the V40 CC ca. 30mm. There are also new shock absorbers and sport springs, improving XC optics, precise driving pleasure, and more-comfortable boarding.

To further improve the visual part of the car, there are matching fender extensions. The 8-piece polyurethane set can also be delivered optionally with black textured paint.

All this makes it more rugged and bolder, nicely fitting the larger 19-inch alloy wheels.

In addition to updated suspension and new look, Heico also has two engine programs, raising power on the D3 model from 150 hp to 195 hp and on the T5 model from 254 hp to 268 hp.

Interior treatment includes new paddle shifters milled from aluminum.
