Normally, you will have to spend a real fortune to be able to drive home a Lamborghini, even if you are simply renting the car. However, there may be quite an interesting deal you can find on eBay, the world’s most popular auction site. Believe it or not, an eBay user has actually listed a Murcielago for GBP25,000. Considering the current exchange rate, that money is somewhere around $40,000. Honestly speaking, this is often the price of a VW Golf GTI. As you can see, this is a great deal, isn’t it? Well, you may want to be warned, though, that there is a catch here.
As it turns out, this Lamborghini Murcielago has totally been burnt down and only its body remains. Yes, that means that for $40,000, you won’t get any V12 engines that the Italian raging bull is supposed to pack under the hood when it comes out of its Italian factory. The body of the car, however, has been treated with partial replacements. In fact, there is even a body kit attached to the shell and it is not just some body kit, it’s the LP670-4 Super Veloce body kit. Besides the engine, you will have to fix the roof of the car yourself, too.
Well, if you are wondering whether or not the price the eBay seller asks for is worth the shell of the raging bull, perhaps it is worth it, at least according to the seller. He claims that you need at least GBP150,000 to trade a Lamborghini these days and for the body kit alone, you will have to pay approximately GBP10,000. One more thing, according to the eBay user selling this Lambo shell, the item he is selling comes with complete paperwork. It has the original logbook from Luxembourg, to begin with. Also, the car has undergone international HPI check and there is a paperwork included for that as well.
