Lamborghini Alar Concept- A new concept in style

by Zack Colt

Italian automobile power house Lamborghini decided that they are going to leave no holds barred when it comes to cars and have just announced the production of a newer model. The Lamborghini Alar Concept is just a totally modified version of the Lamborghini Diablo, but the modifications are placed in such a way that you would not recognize the Diablo in this car. The engine of the Lamborghini Alar Concept has been completely revamped, and the exterior chassis has been totally changed. The car has been designed by Joan Ferci, and even though it was decided that production would start in 2008, technical problems hampered the car’s manufacturing and the date has now been extended to 2010. However, Lamborghini have made clear their intentions to manufacture this car and it was explicitly announced by the Italian giants that the Lamborghini Alar Concept would be made available this year round.

The new Lamborghini Alar concept shall feature a new 7.7 Liter V12 engine which is huge for the car and it was revealed that the car can redline somewhere at around 7500 rpm. The total weight of the car falls somewhere around 1,200 kg, which is fair enough for a car of its size. Lamborghini revealed that the Alar Concept can attain speeds of up to a maximum of 225 mph, which roughly translates to 410.7 km/h. If that is not tremendous, then the features included in the car certainly are. It features Dual Parallel Asymmetric suspensions that come with anti shock systems to minimize impact on the road and give you the smoothest ride ever. The Lamborghini Alar Concept however, is rumored to be priced somewhere around $750,000 and it is certainly not a car for the regular people. Because of its hefty price tag, only the rich can afford it.
