Tesla Model S owners obtains the capability to autosummon

by SpeedLux

Jason Goecke has given a little glimpse of the future. The California designer hacked together a method to regulate his Tesla Model S to get itself out of his garage using his Amazon Echo.

In the video below, you can view demonstration of Goecke informing his Echo to “Ask Kitt to pull the car out of the garage”. As Alexa verifies the command, Model S starting up, the garage door opens then the Tesla drives itself down the driveway, all while a drone provides us a second view from outside the garage.

Goecke discusses that this was achieved by composing a couple of code that is all cloud-based.

Tesla made it possible previously this year by means of an over-the-air upgrade for all Tesla owners to summon their Model S on personal property.
