Volkswagen’s ‘revolutionary’ electric concept car to steal the Paris Motor Show

In the press release, Volkswagen mentioned that “concept car now has potential to make the history with their concept of new vehicle,” adding it is as revolutionary statement.

Apart from the bold claims, the Volkswagen provides some other details in their press release. Though, we know that concept of Volkswagen electric could certainly beat Tesla in a key area which is none other than range.

Hebert Diess, Volkswagen CEO said that prototype vehicle displayed at Paris Motor Show would have the array bigger than 300 miles in single charge. Moreover, Diess even said at this time the car unveiled during motor show will close for what goes in the production.

The notes of press release said about eventual production car would be first on market to use the modular electrification kit of Volkswagen which is known as MEB.

Volkswagen initially showed off their MEB architecture in minibus concept, BUDD-e, during the show of Consumer Electronics Show in January. It said that BUDD-e can get about 373 miles on complete charge with MEB platform, so falls in the line with possible range Diess teased about concept car getting shown in the Paris.
