One of the leading names in aftermarket tuning suppliers in Japan is Studie AG. Their specialty lies in the spectacular manner in which they dress up of BMWs. Usually their work gives a very glamorous look to the original BMW having being decked up with elaborate designs and colorful palettes. They have however elected to go a different route in one tuning case of the BMW.
A 2010 BMW 5 Series GT is what the company selected for this experimental project of theirs. Instead of the bright and colorful hues they are well known for they have given the car a very subdued paint finish. A safari green paint finish in particular is what the company opted for and gave the car post tuning the label of BMW F07 Safari.
The car does give the looks of a wildlife preserved specimen indeed. AC Schnitzer that is also known for their BMW aftermarket services were called in by Studie AG to give a front half bumper cover that Studie AG tweaked slightly to make room for a pair of LED driving lights. 19 inch Type IV wheels from AC Schnitzer that measures 19 x 8.5 at the front with a +15 offset while the rear was given 19 x 9.5 wheels with a +21.5 offset is also part of the tuning package. The hood of the 5-Series GT has been replaced by Studie AG with a vented version that has rows of louvers on each side.
Neat graphics on the sides of the car using military font to coincide with the safari green paint finish has been added by the tuning firm AG to give it the ‘safari’ look as a whole.
