The electric vehicle campaign of Renault proceeds, after revealing the price for its Kangoo Van Z.E. and Twizy recently. The company confirm the cost for Fluence Z.E., the third model in its zero-emission family of the brand.
Renault Fluence Z.E. is also the most affordable electric vehicle in the United Kingdom. The vehicle, which is a five-seat, four-door unit, cruises silently onto UK streets in 2012, although the company has been accepting pre-reservations already for the vehicle through renault-ze.com.
The Renault Fluence Z.E. will be launched in Britain in 2012 but the French carmaker was already announced that the price it will be from £17,850 (after the £5,000 UK Plug-In Car Grant has been deducted).
With this pricing, the model costs much less than the zero-emission cars of similar size. It also costs a lot lower than the smaller and less practical superminis.
Renault Fluence Z.E., comes with equipment including 16” alloy wheels, climate control, cruise control, ecoMeter and Carminat TomTom Live smart satellite navigation, together with charging sockets on both front wings.
The new model has 70kW (95hp) power and 226Nm of instant torque on tap. The range of the Fluence is up to 115 miles, depending on driving and road conditions.
