2013 GTA Spano – Photos and Initial Information

by Site Default

GTA is a small Spanish car manufacturer, and while it may lead you to think of the illegal act of Grand Theft Auto, or the major gaming series with the same name, we assure you there isn’t anything illegal about this car, but granted – it is as exciting as the videogame.

The first GTA Spano made an appearance back in 2009, and it was also released at a Geneva Motor Show, as will this model also be. It wasn’t a major hit back then, so the people from GTA decided to give it another go, and have been trying to enhance the Spano ever since.

The 2013 model, due to be revealed next month in Geneva is fitted with a 8.3-liter V10, that delivers a maximum of 820 horsepower and 960 Nm of torque. According to GTA Motor, the new Spano will have the ability of sprinting to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, and getting to a top speed of 350 km/h.

The body will be made out of carbon fiber, and the cassis will be crafted from titanium, carbon fiber and Kevlar. The mass of this car will, thus, be very low, at only 1350 kilograms.

GTA Motors will make more information available in a couple of weeks, when the Geneva Event is scheduled to start. We’ll fill you in, as we get this car’s full specifications, pricing and possible release date.
