by SpeedLux

Recently according to the sources we came across the news that Acura has announced, their plans to introduce a 2014 MDX prototype at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Sources claim that the latest crossover will have an “Aero Sculpture” design which promises to blend “alluring proportions with smooth, body lines.” And as such, the model will have an spectacular design with an angular front bumper, a smaller grille and prominent air intakes. And from the teaser shot we also get to see bulging fenders, a creased hood and a sloping roof line. Nothing can be said as of now, even the technical specifications are unknown, but the mDX is expected to bring along the 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 310 bhp (231 kW) and 272 lb-ft (368 Nm) of torque, chances are there that they also bring a Hybrid Variant, with V6 engine and three electric motors for a combined output of 370 hp (276 kW).

Stay tuned for more details will be soon posted.
