Maserati Ghibli is one of those cars that are expected to participate in the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show 2013 and this can be confirmed from the fact that the company has already released teaser images and the video of the car to create awareness.
The teaser image released by Maserati showed Ghibli which was covered in blue clothing. The car is said to be the affordable version of the Maserati Quattroporte.
However, some more images of the car have been leaked on the internet which gives a fair idea of what the car may look like. If the images are to be believed, the Ghibli appears to be true refined version of the Maserati Quattroporte with more enticing front end and rear and an interior that has been taken from Quattroporte.
Maserati Ghibli may feature a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 capable of producing 385 hp and a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine packing with an impressive output capacity of 480 hp.
The refining done by Maserati to Ghibli is pretty similar to what Land Rover did to the new Range Rover Sport when they gave a smoother look of the Range Rover HSE especially in the front and rear ends.
