The rules are changing drastically in the coming winter, but if you are a keen observer, you will still be able to spot ‘Red Bull DNA’ at the heart of Adrian Newey’s next creation.
There are many changes that are expected to take place and among them is the turbo V6 regulations that will change ahead of the new world championship, as Newey reminded readers of Germany’s Sport Bild magazine that big aerodynamic changes are also on the cards.
He said the magazine that the narrower front wing and low nose for the cars means that the cars will look a lot different than before. However he added that people will also be able to recognise some familiar ‘Red Bull’ characteristics in the coming year.
In fact, Osterreich newspaper reported that Newey commonly refers to the 2014 car, the RB10, as the cousin of this year’s dominant, title-winning single seater. Well the rendering looks pretty astonishing but we will have to wait for further details to be out regarding the model. But one thing is for sure, the change in rules may have a big impact on all cars and not just Red Bull.
