Indian car maker Tata Motors has recently unveiled an updated Nano that promises to deliver “more awesomeness” than ever before.
Moderately revised, the updated Nano can be distinguished by chrome trim and a new rear bumper with sporty mesh inserts. The model can also be equipped with four personalization kits that feature goodies like a contrasting roof, body side graphics, unique alloy wheels and an aerodynamic body kit.
Changes to the interiors are limited and include a new center console, a twin glovebox, updated upholstery and luxurious beige surfaces. New features fitted include keyless entry, metallic or body-color accents and a four-speaker AmphiStream audio system with Bluetooth/USB/AUX connectivity.
The 2014 Tata Nano would come with two different engines option. The 624 cc petrol engine generates 38 HP (28 kW) and 51 Nm (38 lb-ft) of torque, while the new 624 cc bi-fuel engine generates 33 HP (24 kW) and 45 Nm (33 lb-ft) of torque when running on compressed natural gas.
The new model will go on sale from the next month and pricing starts from Rupees 150,000 (approx $ 2,555 / € 1,905 / £ 1,630). The earlier version did not go very well with the car lovers, so let us see how this model does and whether is it able to generate the interest among the car lovers.
