A recent publication of Car & Driver magazine has on its cover showing what could possibly be the 2015 Ford Mustang and the same has surfaced on the net recently.
In related news, a survey was conducted for Ford that surfaced the web this weekend, shedding some light as far as the engine lineup is concerned. From the survey it appears that the new Mustang will be available with a choice of three engines. Firstly, there is a naturally-aspirated V6 3.8-liter engine that generates 300 hp (224 kW) and 290 lb-ft (393 Nm) of torque.
For an additional amount of 560 USD you can opt for an inline-four 2.4-liter GTDI generating 310 hp (231 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque.
Last but not the least, there will also be a V8 4.9-liter available for which you will have to shell out an extra 1,890 USD which will be able to generate an output of 430 hp (321 kW) and 396 lb-ft (536 Nm) of torque.
The survey also envisions that the model may come with a starting price of 23,995 USD and four transmission options: six-speed manual, seven-speed manual, six-speed automatic and ten-speed automatic.
