by SpeedLux

Nissan has recently announced the pricing details for the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid sold in the United States.

Already available at the Nissan dealerships, the hybrid version of the Pathfinder would come with a starting price of 35,110 USD (which is excluding 860 USD destination charges) for the SV 2WD Hybrid version. The car that had made its debut at the New York Auto Show in March this year comes equipped with a 4-cylinder 2.5-liter supercharged gasoline mill working together with an electric motor, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a lithium-ion battery. This combined hardware arrangement helps the hybridized SUV to generate a total system output of 250 hp (186 kW) and 243 lb-ft (329 Nm) of torque.

The company states that in terms of fuel efficiency, the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid would be able to return 26 mpg in the combined cycle which represents a good noteworthy improvement by 24 percent when compared to the conventional-powered Pathfinder. It further states that it will do 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway and should be able to cover the range of 546 miles (879 km) in just a single charge.
