90% of 2013 SRT Viper Orders are for the GTS Model as per report

by SpeedLux

The first batch of 800 completely produced units of 2013 SRT Viper have been recently shipped but SRT got a pleasant surprise when their orders revealed that almost 90 percent of the orders by the customers have been for the brand new Viper are for the top of the range GTS model.

We call it as pleasant surprise because the 2013 SRT Viper GTS is priced at $120,395 which is a $23,000 price hike over the standard SRT Viper. This means that either the customers are not happy with the standard Viper model because of price factor or that they want to have a better and more luxurious model.

The highest GTS model comes with additional features such as Nappa premium leather wrapped Sabelt seats, a 12-speaker sound system, satellite navigation system, various components wrapped in luxurious Alcantara, bright red brake calipers and more advanced stability control and suspension systems and for this the company has charged a premium of $23,000.
