End of the Dodge Viper means a beginning of the special Cup Series. That’s what has been indicated by the start of production of the Cup Series at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton, VA which closely followed the rolling out of the last Dodge viper from its production lines earlier this month. Production of the Cup Series is to continue through this summer and would only finish at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, in Pahrump, NV on October 24.
Twelve Dodge Viper ACR-X have already been signed up for this weekend’s race with the prize for the winner a sum of $7,500.
President and CEO of Dodge Brand say “The Dodge Viper ACR-X is designed and built specifically for the race track. Now with VERSUS on board, race fans will have the opportunity to see our untamed and unmatched road-racing machine along with some of our talented Viper owner/drivers compete on five of the best road courses in the country as part of the Dodge Viper Cup series.”
