BMW is on the launching spree this year, with atleast two launches – the BMW 4-Series sedan and BMW 4-Convertible. As reported by Auto Motor Und Sport magazine of Germany, the convertible series will be between 3-Series and 5-Series models and may take on competitors like Audi and Mercedes.
The model is being made to target the youth audience and will be an alternative to the high-end 6-Series Convertible model. The exterior modifications may include changes such as squarer headlamps, large eyebrows and broad kidney frame to give 3D effect which all latest BMW offer nowadays.
The model may have four and six cylinder engines alongwith the new 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with capacity of 240 hp. The model is expected to be launched in mid 2013 and sales may start somewhere in later part of this year itself.
