Before this, the automaker Skoda had already given the public an official teaser image of its upcoming vehicle model, the Superb. Yet, this time, the company has released a new teaser image of its third generation Superb vehicle model yet again. In addition to that, the company has even made an official announcement, confirming that it will officially take the veil off the new Superb sometime in February next year. The vehicle is set to make its world debut in Prague. Yet, its official introduction will take place in March next year during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the Czech automaker, this upcoming flagship vehicle model from the company will sport a striking look, combined with expressive shapes inspired by the Skoda VisionC. The company also claims that the vehicle will have a dynamic new proportion. Furthermore, the new vehicle will have elegant lines, pure precision, sculptural body shapes, striking surface contours and also a clear geometry.
In spite of the company’s very first Superb model, the one that the company manufactured between 1934 and 1949, the next generation Skoda Superb will be considered as the third variant. The Czech company is greatly expecting to attract new customer groups into the company’s brand and vehicle models that it has to offer.
The next generation Skoda Superb will be slotted into the mid-class automotive segment but it will be at the top of the segment. It is said that the car will pack the engine from the Volkswagen Passat B8 under its engine bay. With that being said, customers can expect to get just as much power as they would the VW Passat B8. The car will reportedly measure 50 mm wider and 20 mm longer. Nonetheless, it will reportedly lose its weight of up to 75 kg approximately.
