There is no questioning that the Lamborghini Veneno is one of the rarest vehicle models in the world. You will be very lucky if you even have the chance to meet one. Yet, it seems that the citizens of Hong Kong are now worthy of this predicate. They are very lucky as an example of the Italian raging bull mentioned earlier has finally made it to the country. Mind you, it is even a roadster version of the vehicle that has now visited and is going to stay in Hong Kong!
If you remember correctly, the Italian automaker, Lamborghini, claims that the Veneno roadster is an open racing prototype. The company also designates this particular vehicle model is a very exclusive model that has a very limited production run. It was originally developed to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary back in the year 2013. There are only 9 examples of the vehicle ever built and one of them is now in Hong Kong, covered in a white paint job.
Obviously, the car is not inexpensive. In fact, to be able to drive home one of the Veneno roadsters, you need to take at least 3.3 million Euros out of your pockets. So, no offense intended to any of them, but all that most of the Hong Kong citizens can do is probably to simply watch the vehicle showing its charm at the Hong Kong dealership that displays the car. On this upcoming January 29, however, the people who happen to be in the country on that day will be able to view the car first hand at the KCP Auto Plaza as the car will be put on the Lamborghini Pop Up display booth.
Not only does the Lamborghini Veneno roadster come with a mind blowing design, it also comes with a stunningly powerful engine. Naturally aspirated, the engine comes with a total displacement capacity of 6.5 liters and has 12 cylinders arranged in a V-shape layout. The power of the vehicle is 750 hp at peak performance and it needs no more than 2.9 seconds to run from a complete standstill to the speed of 100 km/h. Its top speed, on the other hand, achieves 355 km/h. The roadster weighs 1,490 kg whereas the coupe weighs 1,450 kg. The latter is slightly faster thanks to its slightly lower weight. It needs only 2.8 seconds going from 0 to 100 km/h. Speaking of the coupe, there are only 3 examples ever built.
