One of the best luxury automakers from the land of Germany, BMW, has now officially introduced to the public new M accessories as well as performance parts. According to the company, these new M components are meant for the company’s 2-series vehicle lineups. Of course, as always, the M accessories and performance parts include both exterior and interior modification kits.
As for the exterior of the vehicle, BMW is offering an M Performance logo for the start. In addition to that, buyers can also get things like a redesigned front grille that features a black trim surround, carbon caps for the side mirrors of the vehicle, a new diffuser, side decals, side skirts and also 19-inch bespoke alloy wheels that come in the 624 M and the 405 M visual styles.
Yet, as for the interior part of the vehicle, there will be a selector level trim or Alcantara leather-wrapped transmission shift lever for manual transmission variants of the BMW 2-Series, retro carbon interior trim strips and center armrest, center console, a steering wheel neatly wrapped in the Alcantara leather material, M performance special pedals, and M Performance special floor mats with the company’s M lettering. For the steering wheel, buyers also get to choose whether they want the wheel to include Race Display or not.
Thanks to the M Performance Power Kit, the BMW 2-Series will have an increased power output of 204 hp, for the 220d Convertible variant, for example. The car will also have its 0-100 km/h acceleration time reduced by a certain margin, 0.3 seconds, to be precise. Fuel consumption is rated at 4.7-4.4 L/100 km and the car will emit 124-116 grams of CO2 for every kilometer it travels.
So, if you own a BMW 2-Series or if you are planning on buying one, you may as well get the M Performance Power Kit.
