Both the studio behind the game development, Microsoft, and the American automaker, Ford, have announced that they will include the 2017 Ford GT in the game in question.
It is said that the latest generation Ford GT will get into the game along with other vehicles also manufactured by Ford. These other vehicles include the Shelby GT350 Mustang and the F-150 Raptor.
Speaking of the cars that will be making appearance in the upcoming Forza Motorsport franchise, Phil Spencer, Head of the Xbox division at Microsoft, points out that the company feels honored to be sharing such a historical moment with such a historical automaker from the US soils. According to Spencer, both companies are trying to celebrate the rebirth of the historical Ford GT sports car. Spencer also goes as far as to mention that the staffs at Microsoft are thrilled to feature the aforementioned sports car from the US and to introduce the next installment of their car racing game franchise on the very day that the Ford GT makes its world debut.
Speaking of the 2017 Ford GT, the vehicle will be coming with a V6 EcoBoost engine with twin turbochargers and the engine will be mounted at the middle section of the vehicle. The engine is going to be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and will be able to spit out a total power of 600 bhp. In addition to that, the vehicle will also offer gear shifts that are nearly instant.
