In Canada, a 35-year-old Indian-origin Sikh Lawmaker passed away after a heartbreaking car accident while doing a Good Samaritan act.
Manmeet Bhullar, a Progressive Conservative Lawmaker from Calgary-Greenway, passed away on Monday on the Queen Elizabeth II motorway near Edmonton when an out-of-control semi-trailer struck him after he stopped to assist a fellow vehicle driver that had actually lost control on the snowy roadway.
“It’s ravaging for every person who recognized Manmeet and also understood what he did as well as his sense of spirituality as well as civil service and what a fine person he was,” stated former Alberta Premier Jim Prentice.
Prentice continued: “I used to think that he would go on to other political leadership roles. But he achieved so very much in his 35 years, it’s amazing.”
