Car Crash: Woman knocked down and killed by own BMW SUV

A woman was run over and killed by her own BMW SUV at Burger King’s corporate headquarters in Miami. In the attempt to pull out the parking garage, Arlene M. Allen, of Miramar, Fla., managed to hit another vehicle parken nearby, at aproximately 6:20 p.m. on Thursday. Miami-Dade County police says that after the incident, the woman got out of the car in order to assess the damage she caused to her vehicle, and also to the one she hit.
Detective Roy Rutland explains that she left her SUV in reverse with the driver’s door open, reason for which the car continued in reverse and struck Allen, hitting other two cars afterwords.
Police later declared the woman dead at the scene.
