Caterham is now preparing for a new car for the next year, 2014.
Mark Smith, the director of Caterham F1 has said “CT03 is the first car we had launched in the Leafield Technical Centre so it passes an important milestone regarding the development by our company. The season ahead has shown us with an assuming task early in the design process because it’s the last year present regulations before we will have introduction of the new engine rules by 2014. Having them in mind, we decided that CT03 would be superior version of CT01, not a whole new design, permitting us to start work on the 2014 package.”
Car’s subjects like sidepods, engine cover and diffuser have been modified, also cooling exits. Other delicate improvements or changes are also decided, although main updates will be “soon right after the start of the season”.
Apart from above-mentioned notes, Caterham CT03 has showed up in Jerez with new clothes. Caterham’s CT03 would be raced in 2013 by former driver of Marussia, Charles Pic and Giedo van der Garde who’s a Dutch Racing Driver.
