Sales of heavy trucks in China reached an all-time monthly high for the 13th consecutive month in April, according to industry data.
An estimated total of 200,000 heavy trucks was sold last month, increasing 5 percent year on year, according to auto industry information service provider cvworld.cn
The figure was 13 percent less than in March.
In the first four months of this year, heavy truck sales increased 57 percent year on year to over 730,000 units.
The yearly sales of heavy trucks amounted to around 1.62 million units in 2020, increasing 38 percent from 2019, reaching a record high worldwide.
