One of the owners of both A Ferrari F40 and F50 gave Chris Harris the opportunity to compare the two super cars from Maranello.
While one came out way back in 1987, the other was out in 1995, but many people still believe that the F40 is a better car. Well this opinion is further seconded by Chris’ as he prefers the more brutal F40 rather than the more civilized F50. Regardless of which is better, these are two great models and have played a very big hand in making Ferrari what it is today.
The F40 was built between the years 1987 and 1992 during which Ferrari produced 1,315 units, considerably more than the F50 which was limited to just 349 units made from 1995 to 1997.
After the duo came the Enzo which was built in the year 2002 and it retired two years later after 401 units were produced. The LaFerrari is the most recent prancing horse and again this also will be produced in limited numbers, which is 499 units, and each model will carry a starting price of whopping 1.69M USD. The F40 came out in 1987 and it cost 400,000 USD while the F50 was priced at 480,000 USD.
