As driverless vehicles are gaining more publicity, it is obvious that there were be many different opinions with regards to autonomous vehicles.
Barrie Kirk, working in Canadian Automated Vehicles Centre of Excellence asserts that removing the need to focus on the roadway will result in a lot of travelers having sex behind the wheel, as a means of whiling away tiresome freeway journeys.
He cautioned that this might really be extremely hazardous, because although the cars are referred to as “driverless”, there will be a great deal of circumstances when humans would need to control the car.
“I am anticipating that, once computers are doing the driving, there will be a lot more sex in automobiles.”
“That’s one of few things people will do which will inhibit their ability to reply fast when the computer asks to the human, ‘Take over.'”
Kirk made these statements to the Toronto Sun.
