Some interesting news related to the highly luxurious and sporty Italian automotive marquee, Ferrari, has surfaced onto the internet. It is said that the Italian company is now trying to cook up a new model, an entry level model. This model will allegedly be Ferrari’s weapon to take on the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Mercedes-AMG GT and the McLaren 570S. Unfortunately, it is really hard to get our hands on as many details as possible, at least as of this moment.
Nonetheless, in spite of the scarcity of details regarding the upcoming entry level Ferrari model, Jonny Lieberman from the Motor Trend is reporting that the new model will slot just below the Italian automaker’s California model. In addition to that, it will also be coming with a V6 engine under the hood to give it power, complete with twin turbochargers. Lieberman claims that he has somehow managed to squeeze this information from an insider within the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles group and hence, the information should be trustworthy.
Since not too much information is available right now, perhaps one last interesting bit of news that is worth sharing is that the Italian automaker will most likely launch the new entry level model some time in the oncoming 2019, that is four years from now. The base price is expected to lie somewhere around $180,000.
