When you are driving a vehicle on the road, hitting another vehicle is already quite a big problem in itself. Imagine what if you hit a police car. Things are bound to get even nastier, right? Well, unfortunately, this was exactly what happened recently in Texas, US. An Italian supercar happened to collide with a police car from the rear. To tell the truth, the incident was quite a nasty one as well.
This particular incident involves a Ferrari Testarossa wrapped in yellow and a Texas police car.
It happened at the junction connecting Yale and and Interstate 610 at Houston, Texas, US. The Italian prancing horse from the Maranello-based automaker happened to rear collide a Ford Crown Victoria police car. Judging by the image of the crash, it was quite a serious one. Speaking of the crash image, it was uploaded to Reddit by a user who happened to be running errands around the area at the moment the incident took place.
It can be seen clearly in the image that the front part of the Ferrari Testarossa has been completely wrecked. In addition to that, the side mirror on the driver’s door very nearly got detached as well. As for the police car, its rear end does suffer from quite a severe damage as well. In fact, the officer driving the car did not seem too happy about it, either. Ironically enough, this Ferrari here is not the only one that happens to crash at the Interstate 610.
A number of prancing horses from the Italian automaker has also suffered from the very same fate while passing this particular intersection. In the year 2011, for instance, the driver of a Ferrari F40 happened to lose control of his vehicle all of a sudden. The car then subsequently crashed into a building and the losses that resulted from this incident were even greater than in the case of this Testarossa. Well, Ferrari drivers, be careful while passing this Texas intersection, will ya…?!
