Ford tells huge US Sales in March Due to Fusion, Escape

Ford must be on top of the world and why not, their performance in terms of sales in March 2013 has been quite strong in the US markets. The increase in the sales is because of its three models – the new Fusion mid-size sedan, the Escape SUV and the ever-popular F-series trucks.

The company delivered 235,643 cars and light trucks combined in March 2013 which is a 5.7 percent increase as per the statement released by the company.

The new Fusion mid-size sedan comes with an attractive design and EcoBoost engines and it has achieved its best-ever monthly and quarterly sales till now, with March sales crossing 30,000 and quarterly sales crossing the 80,000 units.

The new Escape SUV also displayed one of the best performances since the launch of Escape 13 years ago. The sale of the car was 28,934 models for the month and 72,983 models for the quarter ended March which is a significant growth of around 30 percent.
