If you remember correctly, it was only a while ago that the German automaker, Volkswagen, announced it would be axing the Beetle model pretty soon. However, that has yet to happen, it seems. As a matter of fact, the company has just introduced no less than four new Beetle concepts at the currently lasting New York Auto Show event.
To start it off, there is the Convertible Denim VW Beetle. As its name implies, this one comes with a dark blue roof inspired by denim. In addition to that, the car also comes wrapped in the Stonewashed Blue Metallic paint job with gray accents on the exterior. Inside the cabin, the car offers high class comfort with leatherette/fabric sport seats and the beauty of brushed matte aluminum trim. Lastly, the car can be seen sitting firmly on the Disc-style 18-inch aluminum wheels.
In the second place, there is the VW Beetle Pink Color Edition. Now, this one is rather unlikely and a real surprise from the German company. Needless to say, it does feature a Pink Metallic paint hue on the exterior. Yet, there are even Titanium Black exterior trim as well as R-line bumpers available on it.
The VW Beetle Convertible Wave can be seen sitting next to the aforementioned VW Beetle edition. This one looks appealing in the Habanero Orange Metallic paint job. In addition to that, it also sports specially designed seats featuring a houndstooth pattern, wooden trim, mirror caps with chrome accents and also Tornado-style wheels measuring 19 inches in diagonal.
At the last place, there is the VW Beetle R-Line concept. This may be sitting at the top of the range, considering it has a rear diffuser and sits firmly on 20-inch alloy wheels with the Monterey style. In addition, its bumpers look sportier than the previously mentioned editions of the Volkswagen Beetle. The car also has its unique appeal thanks to its Oryx White Pearl exterior paint. Stepping into the cabin of this latest Beetle edition, customers will also find yellow contrasting stitches accompanying faux carbon fiber trim and also sport seats.
Well, although these vehicles are just concepts, the German marquee happens to mention that these special editions of the VW Beetle may as well make it into the production stage.
