GTA-styled “Wheelman” video shows the dangers of texting and driving

“Wheelman” by Rory Nestor displays the dangers of texting while driving the car in an entertaining GTA V-like short film.

We can say that video games such as Grand Theft Auto can be the source of inspiration for educational videos like Wheelman which demonstrates the risks of texting. In fact the video is such an amazing one that it also won a competition organized by the Irish Road Safety Authority in collaboration with the Setana insurance company.

Talking about this short film, looking at it you would be inclined to believe that this is a promo clip that has been released by Rockstar Games for GTA V as it has all the ingredients that you would expect from one of the most popular game franchises of all time. The video is made so nicely and demonstrates the dangers so effectively by showing that even a highly-skilled driver (and felon) can meet with an accident if he resorts to use his smartphone while driving a virtual pseudo Camaro.

Well texting while driving is dangerous and all are aware about it but the video can create more awareness than before and hopefully people would learn from it.
